|  METRO is committed to providing the very best in member service, and our continued priority to you, our members, is more convenient account access. In January, I shared with you some of our plans for this coming year and I am pleased to report the following update on several of our initiatives: |
| - On Tuesday, February 20, we officially opened the doors to our new El Cajon Branch, located at 306 Broadway, in the Target Shopping Center. This exciting new location is more spacious and modern, as well as being more accessible for our members. Your favorite METRO Representatives from the former Parkway Plaza location, including Branch Manager Aileen Gratton, are available to help you with all of your banking needs.
- We understand that your lives are busy, sometimes even hectic, which often makes it difficult to visit a branch. With that in mind, on April 1 we launched Mobile Check Deposit through our enhanced Mobile Banking App, for Android and iOS devices. Be sure to check out the details in the Mobile Deposit article featured in this Newsletter.
- Once again, METRO is the Presenting Sponsor of San Diego Zoo’s Butterfly Jungle at Safari Park, which runs through April 15. (Click here to print a discount coupon.)
Whether you prefer to interact with us in person or remotely, we want your experience to be a positive one. We are currently working toward making several improvements to our digital banking platform, including more user-friendly features.
In addition, we are enhancing our Digital Wallet capabilities for our credit and debit cards. Currently, we offer Visa Checkout – a payment method that safely stores cardholder information when shopping online. Later this year, we will be offering you the ability to use the “Pays” with your smart mobile devices. They include: - Samsung Pay
- Apple Pay
- Android Pay
- FitBit Pay
- Garmin Pay
